Bay Athletic Club Group Exercise Class Descriptions


KIDS: ($2.00 per class)

Kids Creative Movement: This 45 minute class is a wonderful way to get your toddler/preschooler leaping, jumping, and twirling in a group setting. Unleash creativity. Ages18 mo to 4y.


ADULTS:
Beachbody:  If you love Boot camp and you love Beachbody products such as P90X and Insanity, you will LOVE this class! Each week a new Beachbody inspired workout with strength and cardio intervals! This advanced workout is sure to make you sweat and burn up those calories! All Levels Welcome!

Aqua Fit: BAC meets you at the Plaza Pool on Saturdays to offer YOU more choices in fitness! Join us for a fun, water-based, low-impact workout! No swimming experience required. $2/Special Class Fee Applies

BOSU/TRX: Enjoy this 30 minute upper and lower body workout on the BOSU and TRX. Sure to raise your heart rate, sculpt your body, and BURN calories!

Cycle: A high-energy, fixed wheel cycling class that is a favorite of men and women. Great way to enjoy cycling in a group setting. Challenging hill and sprint sets to fun music. Tough, but not overwhelming. Bikes are limited. Sign up at front desk. A $2.00 fee applies.  

Cycle Express: 30 minutes in and out! A great way to get an express ride on hills and flats done indoors! Burn and sweat the calories away! Great class for all fitness levels! Bikes are limited. Sign up at front desk. A $2.00 fee applies.  

Fat Blasting Circuits: Circuit-style class open to ALL levels. Work at your own pace as you challenge yourself at each station with strength and cardio exercises designed to BURN FAT.

Fat Blasting Intervals: This cardio and strength interval class with get your heart rate up and burn up calories and blast away fat with use of the steps and weights. All levels are welcome!

Fitness Yoga: Total body yoga aimed at building strength, flexibility, endurance and body awareness.  All levels are welcome! 

Just ABS!! You’ll love it! Discover muscles you never knew you had. Shape your stomach without doing endless sit-ups and crunches. 30 minute express.

Lower Body Express: Target those hard-to-work areas in this 30 minute fat blasting, calorie burning lower body sculpt class. 

Pilates: This core conditioning mat class is the perfect complement to your fitness routine. Strengthen your abs and back and develop a long, lean look.

Sculpt: A weight training class set to music. Sculpting gives the body great shape and helps raise your metabolism so you burn more calories all day long. A great addition to your cardio workouts. (30 minute express - get in, get out, get back to work!)

Simply Fit: It’s FUN to be active at all ages and we want to help you! Improve your strength, endurance, mobility, flexibility, and balance in an easy-to-follow workout that meets the needs of virtually any senior citizen.

Step: A proven favorite. High energy cardio class with lots of fun combinations using a step bench! Sure to shed pounds and calories.

Turbo Kick™: The hottest exercise class around! Sure, it’s kickboxing, but it’s so much more! You’ll kick, punch and groove the calories away in this action-packed, super fun, super safe and effective cardiovascular workout. Kickboxing at its best. All levels welcome, we include form and technique in every class!

Turbo Kick Basic: This class is great for everyone who wants to learn TurboKick™. Learn all the basic moves of Turbo Kick™ while getting a good cardiovascular workout! Break a sweat and burn some mega calories!

Turbo Kick Express:  Kick, punch and jab away those calories in this action packed 30 minute workout. All levels are welcome!

Yoga: Balance mind and body, by combining physical poses and breathing. Great way to relieve stress while improving flexibility, balance and strength. All levels welcome. (Express class is 30 minutes)

Zumba: These hypnotic Latin rhythms and routines feature interval training where fast and slow rhythms, and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. It feels more like a PARTY than a workout! (Express class is 30 minutes)
