Besser School Brings Down the House

Twenty-two employees of Besser Elementary School soared to success with a six-week fitness and nutrition overhaul, sponsored by Bay Athletic Club. As a team, they lost a total of 192 pounds and 164 inches. The group participated in group workouts, individualized exercise plans, and daily homework. They also committed to a nutritional plan. Their hard work paid off! The group averaged a loss of 9.6 lbs and 8.25 inches per person! Because of their efforts, the employees have healthier habits and lower stress.

Marty Cantleberry was the biggest loser, dropping 19.2 lbs. and 10 percent of her body weight. She won a BAC Boot Camp of her choice. Jeanne Ellis was the biggest loser of inches, trimming 14 inches. She also won a free BAC Boot Camp. Jeanne was also surprised by a guest visitor. Area teacher Andrea Linton "paid it forward" to Jeanne by presenting her with a free month membership at BAC that she received at the Fitness Inspired Gala!
Rachel Beyer not only broke through her weight loss plateau, but was also the Top Performer, since she lost 10 pounds, 10 inches, and increased her situps and pushups by at least 10 more! Go Besser! We are PROUD of you!

Turbo Boot Camp Stars
The BAC 10-day Turbo Boot Camp boats huge results --- the 16 participants in the Alpena team lost an average of 4 lbs and 5.6 inches in just 10 days with a unique combination of at-home Turbo DVDs with Live workouts, homework and a nutritional plan. Our inchworm Heather Nordenbrock lost 12 inches in just 10 short days! Sally Nowak won the challenge, losing 8 pounds! Everyone trimmed their waistline and became a Turbo fanatic.

Alcona Boot Camp Stars
Alcona County loves BAC Boot Camp and we love you! A record-breaking 50 participants lost an average of 7.2 pounds and 6.0 inches in the six-week fitness challenge. Dave Cook won the challenge by losing a staggering 26 pounds! He is now a two-time winner and looks and feels like a champ! The biggest loss of inches was Ronnie Miller who shed 20 inches.

Rogers City Boot Camp Stars

Rogers City rocks BAC Boot Camp. The December Camp kicked, jumped and pushed their way to victory, losing 147.8 pounds, 189.75 inches, and doing 231 more push ups and 206 more sit ups. The group averaged to 5.91 pounds and 7.59 inches lost per. The two biggest losers won a free Boot Camp. They are Danielle Streich who lost 16 pounds 20.25 inches and Diane Delekta lost 18 pounds, 13.5 inches.
