Boot Camps finish with a BANG

Alcona Boot Camp
Results
Fifty people in Alcona County are stronger and fitter this week. They participated in a six-week fitness and nutrition overhaul, led by Bay Athletic Club. The workouts are held at Alcona Community Schools. The group lost 319.9 lbs and 230.75 inches with hard-earned sweat and a lot of fun. Unbelievably, the group completed 1,544 push ups and 1,401 sit ups in just one minute on their final day! Many people doubled the amount they could complete in one minute.

Rogers City

Results
Thirty people in Rogers City are healthier this week! The group lost an average of 6.87 lbs person and 6.26 inches person and did 213 more situps and 398 more pushups than just 6 weeks ago! The Boot Camp is held in the new fitness facility adjacent to ARMC Rehab on Bradley Highway.
Award winners:
Biggest Loser was Alan Smolinski who lost 22.6 lbs.
Inchworm was Jenny Grulke who lost 12.5 inches.

Low-Impact Alpena
Ten women completed BAC’s latest Low Impact Boot Camp led by BAC Trainer Patty Goldammer held at Bay Athletic Club. The group lost a total of 82 inches and 72 lbs, an average of 7.2 lbs per person!

The biggest loser was Tammy Ruperd with 16.4 lbs. lost and 14.75 inches! She was also the inchworm! Lucky girl...
