The Johnson’s come to Northeast Michigan!
Every July TurboKick creator Chalene Johnson and her family come to Hubbard Lake for a vacation.  Bay Athletic Club celebrates by having a HUGE Turbo Party!  This year Chalene’s husband Bret will be getting in on the action too!  Bret, who played football at Michigan State University and now coaches a California football team, will be running an athletic workout during the Turbo Party, outside of East Campus.  Contact Casey for more information.

Six weeks of fitness and healthy eating has delivered fabulous results for another Corporate Challenge group.  Together,84.9 pounds and 69.25 inches were lost! Neiman's Family Market Corporate Challenge

  • Lori Ludwig was the overall winner, losing an amazing 26 pounds and 15.25 inches! 

Neiman's Family Market checks out with a success!
The crew at Neiman's Family Market came together to get healthier and get fit!  During their Corporate Challenge, the group lost 89.4 pounds and 67 inches!

  • Felisha Allen was the biggest loser, shedding 17.8 pounds. 
  • Charlene Damasco was the inch worm, losing 10.5 inches.
  • Lois Tews was the overall winner, losing 16.4 pounds, 8.75 inches and 7.83 percent of her body weight!

Alpena Public Schools Corporate Challenge

Alpena Public Schools Corporate Challenge participants received high marks for their efforts to transform their fitness and eating habits!  Together the group lost 179 pounds and 174 inches.  This challenge was unique because it was a “reunion” for many of the challengers.

  • Sarah Jore was the biggest loser, shedding 20.6 pounds.
  • Lori Gehrke was the inch worm, losing 14.5 inches.

May Boot Campers

May Boot Campers run and lunge towards results!
May’s BAC Alpena Boot Camp was another success!  Nearly 40 Boot Campers spent 3 weeks working on improving their health through exercise and nutrition.  They were challenged by a variety of BAC trainers who led them through dynamic, exciting and explosive workouts!  Together the group lost 182.2 pounds and 169.5 inches.

  • Paul Aiken was the biggest loser, shedding 15.2 pounds.
  • Al Adrian won the inch worm award, losing 11.75 inches.

Rogers City Boot Camp

Our “Northern” Boot Campers weighed in for the last time before fall.  The May-June Rogers City Boot Camp was filled with veterans who enjoy the opportunity to stay active and aren’t as focused on dropping pounds and inches, but there were still a few new Boot Campers looking for results.  This session, 35.6 pounds and 51 inches were lost.  The next Rogers City Boot Camp will start in September 2009.  During the summer there will be a group exercise class every Tuesday at 6pm.  The cost is $6.
