Long Rapids Students Take a Healthy Fieldtrip
Forty students from Long Rapids Elementary School visited Bay Athletic Club for a fitness presentation and activity. The kindergarten and first grade students were encouraged to choose water over soda and healthy snacks before treats and sweets.
The students learned that children need one hour of activity daily. They had a chance to test out a variety of fun fitness equipment and participated in Kid Yoga and Kid Turbo Kick.
