Chris Lanciano It’s time to do work.
– Chris to his clients
I have been an athlete all my life, had a career as an Alpena Ice Digger, and am now a personal trainer at Bay Athletic Club. I am certified through the American Aerobic Association.
I love making people sweat and laugh. I really believe that people are happiest doing wall sits with weights on their legs! All kidding aside, I really enjoy instructing Rocky Bootcamp, HEAT, Sculpt, and Just Abs. The rush of sweat and adrenaline is the best reward for an hour or so of movement!
I got involved in fitness as a teenager. To be the best hockey player I could be, I got my body in the best shape possible. I played ice hockey for 13 years, baseball for 10 years and soccer for 10 years.
At BAC, I love the fact that everyday at work, I meet someone new who is really excited about fitness. I also appreciate seeing our regulars who work hard to make incredible fitness gains.
I work out four to five times per week. My workouts are very intense and focus on building muscle. I keep my reps between 6 and12 for the most part. I stick with mass building moves like squats, deadlifts, bench presses, and barbell rows. I do cardio at least one time a week and at the most four times per week. My favorite classes are Cycling, HEAT and Just Abs.
As for hobbies, I love to fitness. I plan to compete in the spring for the second time in the BAC Strongman Competition. I also love hockey, football, baseball, golf, billiards, eating out, and hanging with friends, watching movies, eating, and reading books on fitness and health.
